“I’m not offended at all,” Nancy Binay said during the campaign sorties of UNA at the Pampang Market, Angeles City.
“Black is beautiful, and she is beautiful,” Councilmens’ League of Angeles City Vice President Roy Ogurida said during the UNA rally at Angeles City.
Nancy Binay, who ranked fourth among possible senatorial winners in the recent survey of Pulse Asia, said the Binays are used to being the “underdog”.
Nancy Binay, daughter of Vice President Jejomar Binay, got 43.6 percent of support from a sample of 1,800 registered voters aged 18 years old and above. San Juan City Representative JV Ejercito, son of former President Joseph Estrada, got 43.5 percent.
Binay only ranked 12th in a separate survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations last month, which was also dominated by Legarda, Escudero and Cayetano.
“We have always been the underdog. We have been through many trials and we were able to surpass them,” Nancy Binay told Vice Mayorable Candidate Mark Allen Sison on Wednesday during the UNA Campaign Rally at Pampang Market.
She said the good performance of her father, who has been consistently topping surveys among government officials, contributed to her high rating
